About the role
AFRY's railway organization is national with offices from Luleå to Malmö and through close collaboration between our offices and technical areas, we together form a strong whole. We work with investigations, conceptual and feasibility studies, design of construction documents and management data, review and inspection. Our assignments are often complex and we work in interdisciplinary teams.
For our offices in Gävle, Borlänge, Sundsvall, Umeå and Luleå, we are now looking for you who are an experienced designer or technical manager in signaling, low-voltage electricity or electrical contact line who can take on all exciting assignments. We are looking for you who are passionate about seeing people grow and together achieve good solutions.
The railway market in the north is hot and for our latest assignments we are looking for just you!
Requirement specification
We believe that you have worked for at least 5 years in one of our technical areas in various forms and wish to work as a technical manager and both design yourself but also lead design colleagues from different countries. In terms of education, you have a university degree, or you have accumulated equivalent skills through longer work experience.
As a person, you are driven, committed, structured and self-driven with a clear focus on teamwork. Furthermore, you are good at building, maintaining and managing your existing relationships and you are motivated by finding new business opportunities. As you will have multiple interfaces, you will find it easy to communicate with your customers and colleagues. Furthermore, you are not afraid to hold and participate in technical discussions. Communication in Swedish and English, both written and verbal, is a natural part of the role. You have experience of being a project manager and leading less experienced employees. You are probably interested in technology, why not with experience of the construction side.
