Job description

We are looking for you who want to join AFRY and work primarily with our customers in the defense industry The need for knowledge in FPGA is growing and we need more people. They offer their customers effective solutions for surveillance, security, decision support, threat detection and protection. Technically, they are leaders in many areas and develop products and systems to deliver military capabilities, protect national security, and maintain critical information and infrastructure.

To succeed in the role, it is important to be able to work in a structured way and follow formal processes, as the development is often security-critical. Regarding the development itself, you will work primarily with design and possibly verification of FPGA. You are an important part of the development of the customer's future products.  In the role, you will also be involved in other parts of the development process, for example through system work, requirements management, testing and delivery.

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to complete and pass a security clearance with a registry check. 

To succeed in the role, you have:

  • A solid background with more than 3+ years of experience in FPGA development and/or verification, preferably both.
  • Good knowledge of VHDL, but preferably also Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
  • Experience with multi clock domains
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing is a requirement.
  • Swedish citizenship
  • Living in Sweden

If you have experience of:

  • Systems engineering
  • Testbench design
  • Working in a security classified environment
  • IP block configuration and verification
  • Backend work with, timing and optimization, Place and Route
  • Working with sampling, high-speed limit sets
  • UVM or other test frameworks and test methodology
  • Lab experience
