About the role
In the quest to contribute to the creation of a more sustainable world, several exciting projects are currently underway across Sweden. Then the role of Project Manager at our company might be what you are looking for.
Our clients are leaders in both technological innovation and sustainability, which characterizes the projects you will be involved in. AFRY strives to be a forerunner in sustainability, and as a Project Manager you will play a significant role in shaping a more sustainable future. The projects within the industry focus on creating sustainable solutions, including increased energy efficiency, higher material efficiency and smarter production systems.
In your role as a consultant and Project Manager, you will belong to the Project, Control & Management section, which specializes in project management and works with various roles within project management, project and program control and project coordination. The assignments span the industry and technology sector, where we help shape the smart production and product of the future. Many projects are driven by the need for electrification in the automotive industry, development of fossil-free materials or digitization. The assignments can be at our customers, located geographically between Södertälje and Uppsala, or at our own premises.
Our group currently consists of about 10 project managers with experience ranging from 0 to 25 years in leading roles in industry. Most of us are certified according to PMI or PRINCE2. Despite our technical focus, our common drive is to develop in leadership and project management.

Requirement specification
We are looking for you who have an engineering education and 2-5 years of work experience in project management in industry, preferably in the production / manufacturing industry or product development. It is meritorious if you have experience of projects in the automotive, food & pharma or similar industries.
As a person, you have the ability to create enthusiasm, commitment and success in employees. You are passionate about teamwork, driven by challenges and love competitions and socializing. At the same time, you find technology interesting and are passionate about developing both as an engineer and a leader. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and in writing.
