Job description

We are now looking for a committed Group Manager for our group within Building Construction in Örnskiöldsvik. You report to the section manager and together we lead and drive the business forward.

As group manager, your main task is to be a good leader for the group's employees but also to process the market in northern Sweden to find new customers. Your role as a leader includes creating commitment and motivation, as well as conditions for employees to develop and take responsibility. You also have an important task of shaping a positive working climate and a dynamic workplace where goals, tasks and associated responsibilities are clear and where people have fun and develop at the same time. This is a position with great freedom to build, drive and develop the group with authority over the group's growth, recruitment, staff, customers and marketing. You have full personnel responsibility which means; recruitment, development, salary setting, etc.

For the right person, there are great opportunities for personal development to continue to develop within AFRY. You are part of the section's management team together with several other group managers in a close collaboration characterized by trust and job satisfaction. You will combine your managerial role with working as a consultant, preferably as a designer.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are passionate about team development, satisfied customers and have a great interest in meeting both ongoing and upcoming construction projects in the North!

You show great commitment and are a confident decision-maker, who persistently drives the organization forward with a good communication ability. The pace is sometimes fast and it is important that you can plan and structure both the group's work and your own. In your role, it is important that you are committed, clear, structured and enjoy driving change.

For this role, we would like to see that you have many years of experience from the industry as a consultant, contractor or client, are a fan of doing business and are well versed in the consulting business.

You who apply have an academic education with a technical focus or other equivalent work experience.

We also see that you master Swedish and English without difficulty and have easy to express yourself in speech and writing.
