We are a large team located and operating in Helsingborg, Malmö and Lund and consists of 55 people, currently divided into five groups. In the electrical engineering section, we work with everything from schools, hospitals, industry, depots, airports, ports, offices with both municipal and private property owners and we are present throughout the real estate sector. We help our customers plan and design electrical and telecommunications systems based on specific needs, for electricity, data/IT and security systems including alarms and locks. In collaboration with architects, property owners, contractors and authorities, we are used to designing complex systems for high demands but also to take responsibility for entire projects, from feasibility study to pilot projects, implementation and follow-up. We operate within AFRY's business area, which we call Buildings, and help our clients with projects in earlier stages, design and construction production, as well as operation and management. Among us you will find electrical engineers, lighting designers, power, telecom and security specialists, surveyors, electrical and fire alarm auditors. As you can see, there is a great breadth with us and now we want to grow further and are looking for you with previous leadership experience and who want to take on the role of group manager and build up a group in Helsingborg.

Job description

As a team leader with us, you will be responsible for building and leading a team within the electrical engineering section. You will be a key person in our company and play a crucial role in driving our strategy and achieving our growth targets.

You are part of the section management team and work closely with the other group managers and section manager. You will combine your managerial role with working on projects yourself, as a project manager or specialist.

Your main tasks:

• Recruit, train and develop members of your team
• Set targets and monitor performance to ensure the team achieves its objectives
• Be involved in developing and implementing effective strategies and tactics within your own group and also the section.
• Motivate and inspire your team to ensure high performance and engagement
• Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities, service offerings and develop relationships with new and existing clients.

Qualifications

You are driven, take initiative and are solution-oriented. You enjoy and have experience of leading and implementing assignments and projects towards set goals.

We consider it necessary that you have:

• Relevant education from college, university, vocational college or other equivalent education with a focus on electrical engineering.
• Several years of work experience and with a contact network in the industry.
• Knowledge of consulting and construction law.
• Experience and an interest in working with new customers and maintaining customer relationships as well as sales and marketing.
• The ability to work without hindrance in both Swedish and English (spoken and written).

In addition, we see it as meritorious that you have:

• Have documented experience of building and leading successful teams, preferably in electrical engineering or related industry.
