With over 1500 employees, our Buildings business area is one of Sweden's largest players in the construction and real estate sector. We create sustainable, building-related, technology and design solutions for property owners, contractors and industry. Based on our qualitative offers and products together with a focus on growth, sustainability and digitization, we see many opportunities and a bright future.

Our projects are both fun, challenging and varied as our customers include private actors and public institutions. With us, you get to follow the projects from the early stages to delivery and follow-up. We are currently working with some of the largest projects in Sweden as well as with large and small players in the real estate industry.

We are now looking for a group manager with a location in Sundsvall.

As a group manager, you will have personnel responsibility for a group of 4 employees located in Sundsvall and Härnösand. Personnel responsibility includes, among other things, employee interviews, work environment responsibility, salary setting in consultation with the section manager and helping employees develop in their work.

Other responsibilities include:

• Consult with mission leaders on resource planning, be responsible for the group's short-term and long-term time planning and coordinate resource needs with other group managers.
• Responsible for the financial follow-up of projects.
• Check that AFRY's quality management system is being followed.
• Support project managers in their daily work.
• Check time sheets, customer invoices and supplier invoices.
• Customer contact and sales of services.
• Support section manager/tender team in submitting tenders.

In addition to the tasks of group manager, we see that at 80% you should have the role of mission leader or administrator in missions.

Qualifications

You should have a vocational college, university or civil engineering education with a focus on EL or have acquired equivalent experience from elsewhere regarding electrical project planning. We would like to see that you have at least 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer and that you have had the role of project manager in projects.

To fit into the role, good leadership is required and can naturally engage and motivate. We are looking for a leader who can continue to develop the group through an unpretentious, responsive and inclusive approach.

We see that you have good social skills and like to be challenged both technically and in terms of business and leadership. You need to thrive on building relationships as an important part of the job is to be able to make contact, both with customers and colleagues. It is a great advantage if you have an established network in the region.

Knowledge of project management, costing, AMA, construction law and inspections is meritorious.

Knowledge of drawing management and programs such as AutoCAD MagiCAD, Revit MagiCAD, Naviswork, Solibiri, El-Vis, Febdok, Dialux is meritorious.
