About the role
In the role of Section Manager, you will belong to the South region, which extends from Bohuslän, Halland, Småland, Blekinge and Skåne. As well as doing business in Denmark, you will be part of our management team Local Project and Engineering Syd. Within our area of responsibility, we work with projects and services mainly in Project Management, Electrical, Instrument, Automation, Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, Maintenance, Health and Safety.
Most closely, we belong to the Process Industries Sweden division where we have all the disciplines and technical expertise required to run all types of projects, from T&M to EPC and EPCM projects in the process industry. This gives us a broad competence to market to our customers and opportunities to take exciting In-house projects. We hope you want to join us on our continued journey forward!
In the role, you have overall responsibility for the section's operations in terms of staff, business, marketing, growth and profitability. Your task will be to lead a long-term sustainable section with high competence and delivery capacity, which includes goal-oriented work with everything from service development, marketing and sales to recruitment and development of our employees. The most important thing is to ensure that our employees thrive and develop through your coaching leadership. Furthermore, you will have a strong focus on managing existing customer relationships, creating new business opportunities and developing new contacts.

As Section Manager, you are driven by challenges and are a business-oriented team player who has expertise and experience in the field of activity. You have a strong desire to continue developing customer relationships and the organization further. In addition to your interest in business, you are also driven to nurture and develop our people. To be successful in the role, you have an established network in the region that you actively use. You need to be humble and see collaboration as the key to success. As a person, you are self-driven, clear and communicative. You are coaching in your leadership style and have good people skills.
The role requires you to have good knowledge of Swedish and English and hold a driving license B as travel in the service normally occurs.

You will be part of AFRY's Process Industries division and work in the Local Projects & Engineering South segment, which extends from Malmö to Lysekil. We already have a very strong foothold on the west coast and run several large projects in the process industry with project commitments and services in, for example, Project Management, Electrical, Instrument, Automation, Mechanical, Piping, Health and Safety and HVAC.
