With 1,500 employees, our Buildings business area is one of Sweden's largest players in the construction and real estate sector. We create sustainable, building-related, technology and design solutions for property owners, contractors and industry. Many of our customers describe that their biggest challenges in the projects are coordination of information, energy efficiency, cost control and good balance between sustainability and digitization in the various stages of the construction process. Our new market area will help our customers solve these problems. We are not satisfied with just being the best, we want to lead the development of the industry.

We are strengthening our competence in handling multidisciplinary and complex assignments and increasing our quality in customer delivery. The strengthened organization in Buildings & BU South highlights our new PM Office and improves the existing project structure with a matrix organization of Service Owners. We are creating better conditions for collaboration in complex assignments and creating a more business-oriented, flexible and agile organization. In the new organization, we are now looking for a strategically very important leader for our services in Early stages, Sustainability and strategic advice.

In Project Solutions, we work interdisciplinary with a focus on early stages. We work with feasibility studies in large complex projects, develop digital tools to evaluate and ensure that the right alternatives are selected, carry out conceptual framework studies for reduced climate impact and work with sustainability and digitization strategies.

Our services in Sustainable Building include, among other things, environmental coordination where we help our customers to environmentally certify buildings in all commonly used certification systems such as Breeam and Miljöbyggnad. With our services in energy coordination, we help our customers to achieve the energy requirements set for the building, we carry out simulations for energy, daylight, indoor climate, solar heat load, etc. In the projects, we work closely with architects and developers to optimize facade and plan design.

We work to reduce the climate impact of buildings from early stages, throughout the design until the finished building. We perform climate coordination, climate calculations, frame optimizations and strategic advice. We combine design with climate calculation and develop digital tools to optimize these processes. We help clients with requirements in procurement, set target limits and are driving initiatives such as LFM30.

The role of section manager includes being responsible for developing and driving the business forward together with the Market Area Manager and Sustainability Manager BU South. This means recruiting and building a team, developing our service portfolio together with our business developers and service owners. You have profit and budget responsibility for your unit but also as part of the whole. In a time of change, we see an opportunity to take our Strategy & Sustainability services to the next level. This includes further developing the section's deliveries to customers and seeing what opportunities there are to specialize and/or broaden the competence of the group. The daily work will therefore include customer contacts, recruitment, product and business development.



Requirements


To fit with us in the change and development that is currently being carried out, we believe that you need to be energetic, sharp, flexible, self-driven and analytical. Together we set the goals for our business and we would like you to be part of creating our development plan for your particular competence.

We are looking for you who have experience in construction project management, but who also see yourself as a sustainability leader, digitization leader or perhaps an expert in early stages or cost calculations. You are curious, energetic and have a strong ability to adapt in a rapidly changing world. With us, you will play a crucial role in shaping the sustainable and digital construction projects of the future.

  • A background as a consultant or client with specialist knowledge in sustainability, digitalization or cost management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry and a good understanding of its various actors and processes.
  • Experience in leading and inspiring teams, whether in a managerial role or in a leading project role.
  • A strong passion for sustainability and digitalization - and the ability to combine these in practice.
  • Personal qualities that are valued in this role are decisiveness, flexibility, independence and curiosity.

This position involves placement in a security class. Security clearance with a register check will be carried out before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
