Job description

As a work environment specialist with us at AFRY, you will be responsible for driving and developing work environment efforts in Sweden. The work will be done in close collaboration with HR in our divisions, our main safety representatives and with our global Health & Safety specialist.

You will be our expert on work environment issues and ensure that we work proactively with work environment issues, have processes and routines in place to ensure an effective and safe work environment, while being responsible for our systems linked to the work environment work. You will also be responsible for coordinating and following up the systematic work environment management at central level.

Another important part of the role is to keep up to date on new laws in the field and communicate this in the business. The role also includes holding training and webinars in the work environment area for our managers in Sweden.

We want you to work with us from the head office in Solna. The work takes place on site, but the possibility of some home work is of course available. You will be part of our team of HR specialists and HR support, which today consists of eleven nice colleagues, with a forward-looking leadership that gives you great freedom under responsibility.

Qualifications

We see that you bring knowledge and experience in the form of:

  • Relevant academic degree
  • Several years of experience in work environment management within a larger organization, preferably global.
  • Good knowledge of national legislation in the field of occupational health and safety and knowledge of ISO 45001 is meritorious.
  • Experience in developing and implementing occupational health and safety strategies and processes.
  • Ability to work on a key figure basis for development in the field of occupational health and safety.
  • Experience in managing work environment incidents.
  • Very good knowledge of English and Swedish, both in speech and in writing.
