About the role
Our section, Electrical & Automation at AFRY, is today a group of 23 colleagues located in Jönköping. We work with everything from electrical design, programming, risk assessments in machine safety and project management and then of course also electrical inspections according to the Electrical Board's instructions. We also support the various divisions within AFRY with our specialist expertise in our areas. This means that we are present throughout AFRY's client base, which is incredibly exciting. In this role, you will work as an Electrical/Power Inspection Engineer for projects that AFRY is involved in. With us, the role as an inspection engineer means that you will work with Electrical Audit inspection and perhaps in combination with other electrical power related areas such as construction inspections, testing or measurements.
We support not only external customers but also the various divisions within AFRY with our specialist expertise in electrical power and inspection, which means that you will have internal as well as external partners in your daily work. You will work with different types of projects and assignments, which will be governed by your competence, the customer's needs and your personal ambition and development plan. Our section offers you exciting and challenging tasks in a nice team.
Requirement specification
We are now looking for an experienced electrician or electrical power engineer who is interested in developing in the inspection area. If you have previous experience in electrical auditing and inspections, this is very interesting, but something we also see as possible to get training in and learn in the role. As you will be responsible for ensuring electrical installations and solutions, it is crucial that you are a thorough, structured and technically interested person who drives things from idea to finish - you do not give up as soon as it takes. We imagine that you value collaborating and engaging with others, building relationships and being accountable in what you do. In addition to this, you are interested in developing yourself and helping to develop your colleagues and customers - you enjoy building contacts both externally and internally. In addition to this description, we hope that you recognize yourself in the following:
- A YH education or post-secondary education in electrical power or electricity.
- Worked with electricity for many years, for example as an electrician or in electrical power.
- A desire to be authorized by the fire protection association Elektriska Nämnden, as this is required to work with electrical audits.
- B driving license as travel is a natural part of your role.
- Master Swedish and English in speech and writing as this is required in dialogue with both customers and colleagues.
- We place great importance on your personal qualities and highly value your curiosity, responsibility and collaborative focus in this role.
