Job description
This assignment is a collaboration between AFRY and our successful client within trucks and heavy vehicles in Södertälje. Our client is in a period of several exciting changes and challenges and is now looking for a driven and technically minded production preparer.
As a preparer, you have a central role in ensuring trouble-free product introductions and product improvements in production. You will work closely with production engineers, both on site in Södertälje and in an international environment. In the role of preparer, you will act as the link between production and design.
Your main tasks are to quality assure the department's processes. This is done by, among other things, archiving, storing and optimizing tool parts. You will work with continuous improvements and ensure that the improvements are implemented according to company procedures. Modeling in CAD occurs as a natural part of the work.
The team consists of a bunch of committed and work-happy colleagues where you are offered good opportunities for development.
Qualifications
You are a relatively recent university graduate or civil engineer, preferably with a focus on production and with experience in machining. As a person, you are careful, structured and like order and orderliness.
As a processor in the department, both project management skills and general technical skills are required. You enjoy having many contact surfaces and are happy to collaborate broadly to ensure that the best possible results are achieved.
You are easy to both read and understand drawings and master at least one CAD program, preferably CATIA. You also have good IT experience and do not mind working in complex IT systems.
You are driven to immerse yourself in technical issues. You are happy to take your own initiative and ask questions or look for the answer on your own when questions arise.
