About the role
We are looking for a test engineer/electronics tester for assignments in the Swedish defense industry. You will be part of a test team of about 12-16 people.
The work tasks may consist of being responsible for product care and/or repair of electronics hardware. The team works both with new development and aftermarket, where the latter includes repair and testing of broken components.
For this, the customer wants to strengthen with another junior electronics tester who can quickly get into the practical tasks. You will be part of various projects and be part of a supportive work environment, working together to create innovative and sustainable solutions.
For this assignment, the client requires you to have Swedish citizenship and be able to work mostly on site, as the tasks largely include practical hands-on tasks.
Requirement specification
Education in electronics, electrical engineering, electrical science or that you can demonstrate the equivalent based on work experience.
We look for you to have:
- High school diploma with a focus on electronics
- Some experience in hands-on testing of electronics
- Experience working with testing at system and component level
- Lab experience, hands-on, understanding of equipment and instruments in a lab environment
- Testing of sub-assemblies (e.g. PCBs, waveguides), delivery and unit tests in different levels, measurement of microwave modules, high current measurements in power units
- Write and if necessary operate observation reports/Non Compliance Report (NCR)
- Participate in FAAT/FAT with end customer. // FAI control
- Swedish citizenship
- Responsible, logistical thinking and ready to "roll up your sleeves"
Advantageous:
- Some experience/understanding of software testing
- Experience in the defense industry and/or assignments with security and technical documentation requirements
