The section in Jönköping is part of the Advanced Automation business area, where we are about 700 employees and the vast majority are located in sections around Sweden. In Jönköping, you will be part of a team of about 20 people, with expertise in electrical design, programming, machine safety, project management and electrical inspections. In addition to our own customer base, we also support the various divisions within AFRY with our specialist expertise, which means that we can offer a huge breadth in the types of projects we work with. About the role
Right now we are looking for you who want to be involved in developing and taking a leading role in our team of electrical designers, which currently consists of three people and where we now see good opportunities in the market where we want to advance and take on more complex and larger projects. You will have the opportunity to shape your team and how you will work by developing a way of working, planning resources, being involved in the projects from idea stage to finished work, organizing new standards and routines for how the work should be done and helping to shape how you work together as a team. As you have extensive experience from the industry, we also see that you will be involved in customer meetings that relate to your expertise, where you get to build your own business. In the short term, you will work and be closely supported by the section manager and other experienced employees in the section, then in the long term we hope that you can take on a team leader role for our electrical designers similar to how we work on the automation side of the section. However, the role of team leader requires a larger team, so we will also give you opportunities to be involved in recruiting new employees to the electrical design team.
We work almost exclusively on projects in industry, where working methods vary depending on the assignment. In short, they can currently involve everything from design work in the form of the construction of cabinets, or upgrades in existing systems, to new construction and construction of completely new systems. Your role will probably also include tasks such as commissioning, system descriptions and project management and more.
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you will need to have many years of work experience in the field of electrical design for industrial operations, working with Eplan and ElproCAD. You are used to leading and coaching employees who have less experience, and you enjoy being involved in setting up routines for how project implementation should look. As the role includes meetings with customers, we hope that you think such elements are fun, as you get to be involved in the sales work. With the above in mind, we believe that you value working with others, creating commitment and like to take responsibility in your work. We also see it as very meritorious if you have great local knowledge with your own existing network, and therefore already have an idea of what types of customers and projects you think we should take on.
However, the most important thing for us is not that you meet all of the characteristics mentioned above, but that you have the potential and drive to get there. What you must have with you, however, is good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing. As well as a B-driving license as shorter trips to customers' operations are part of the role.
