Are you a skilled mechanical engineer with a passion for innovative design and precision? Do you want to work on market-leading products in the metal industry? Then we are looking for you! We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for a prominent company in the metal industry, known for its high quality and innovation. You will work with everything from small precision components to large structural solutions.

As a Mechanical Designer, you will develop and design mechanical components and systems using Inventor. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the design meets both functional and manufacturing requirements. You will also conduct technical analysis and contribute to improvements of existing products. Responsibility for documentation and technical drawings in accordance with company standards and quality requirements is also included. In addition, you will participate in projects from concept to finished product, including prototyping and testing.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university degree in mechanical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience. You should have at least 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the metal industry, and a good knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, as well as experience working in a CAD environment. Experience in manufacturing techniques such as welding, machining and surface treatment is also important. You should have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team. Good communication skills in Swedish and English are a requirement.
