About the role
In this role, you will have the chance to try out several exciting projects that are run both in our clients' operations and in-house at AFRY. Our section offers you exciting and challenging tasks in a nice team that is happy to welcome more electrical power colleagues. As an Electrical Power Engineer with us, you will work with the preparation of inquiry documents for low and medium voltage substations, investigations and feasibility studies, technical advice and network calculations and selective plans. The assignments and projects are mainly within the county of Västra Götaland and we are mainly active in the electricity and energy area as well as the industrial sector in the immediate area.
Our section, Electric Power at AFRY in Trollhättan, is a group of 11 colleagues today. With us, you are part of a team that works from idea stage to completed project and finished plant in industry. With our broad and deep expertise, we have the opportunity to help both our customers and each other to succeed and develop. We like to learn from each other and do fun things together. We run advanced electrical power projects for our external customers, ranging from heavy petrochemical operations to vehicle development/manufacturing to complex hospital facilities. We also support the various divisions within AFRY with our specialist expertise in electrical power. This means that we are present throughout AFRY's customer base, which is incredibly exciting.
Requirement specification
As you will be involved in developing the technical solutions of the future, we believe that you are a curious and technically interested person who wants to learn new things. We believe that you like to collaborate with others, build relationships and are responsible in what you do. At the same time, we believe that you think it is important to be organized and you have a good structure in your work. We also believe that you have:
- A post-secondary education in electrical power or have acquired equivalent knowledge from practical work experience.
- B-driving license as traveling at times may be a natural part of your role.
- Fluent skills in Swedish and English in speech and writing as this is required in dialog with both customers and colleagues.
If you also have practical experience as a service / industrial electrician or are in some way used to working with electricity / electric power in practice, it is a bonus for us, but not a requirement. We attach great importance to your personal qualities and your curiosity, responsibility and commitment.
