At AFRY, we carry out assignments for a large number of different industries and the job with us would therefore best be described as very varied. We are 19,000 dedicated colleagues worldwide, each with a unique skill set. Right now, we are looking for a new colleague with a strong interest and expertise in occupational health and safety and EHS.

At AFRY, we work with occupational health and safety as an important part of developing new innovations. In fact, we have a whole team of specialists working to create more sustainable and safe workplaces and more sustainable and efficient production.

As a Health and Safety Consultant, you work to create a holistic review of clients' operations. It is a social advisory role, where you work advisory role, where you work with legal issues and both operational and strategic advice in work environment. This may include business adaptations to legal requirements, meetings with authorities and the preparation of documents etc.

In our projects and consulting assignments:

• We guide and structure the work environment work, for example within SAM
• Conduct preliminary investigations/GAP analyses linked to ISO 45001
• Conduct projects and investigations based on the MTO perspective
• Projects/assignments with preventive risk assessments
• Investigations and analyses of incidents

The location is flexible - we have the opportunity to hire in locations with AFRY offices from Malmö to Karlstad.

Qualifications

the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. We would like to get in touch with you who are analytical and driven to learn new things and who want to be part of the journey to strengthen our position as leading consultants in occupational health and safety and EHS/HSE.

• A minimum of 3 years of documented experience in work environment and EHS/HSE work
• High school education or equivalent experience in the field
• Knowledge and experience of work environment legislation (AML and AFS:ar) with a focus on SAM and machines/production lines
• Knowledge and experience of SAM (systematic work environment management)
• Have actively worked with risk analysis, risk assessment and safety in general
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have worked with:

• Environment and quality
• Industry
• Leading teams/projects
• Chemical management and chemical hazards
• Worked as a Work Environment Manager, Work Environment Inspector, Work Environment Coordinator/Coordinator, Project Manager or similar.
• ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001
• OSA
