About the role

Do you want to work in a creative and technically challenging role where you get to develop circuit board solutions for the products of the future? In the role of PCBA Designer you will:

• Develop and design using tools such as Cadence , Mentor Graphics or Altium.
• Create and improve layout and floor plans for printed circuit boards.
• Participate in projects where you contribute your expertise in analog and digital power systems, including DC/DC converters.
• Work in a lab environment to verify designs through measurements and analysis
• Knowledge of power converter and power system simulation
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve working methods and share knowledge

Requirements

To succeed in the role of PCBA Designer, we believe you will have a technical degree at BSc or MSc level in electronics, electrical power or a similar field. You have experience working with electronics design, where you are comfortable with both schematic drawing and layout work in tools such as Cadence or Altium. We would like you to have an understanding of manufacturing processes and the technical challenges that can arise in connection with electronics design.

It is meritorious if you have worked with analog and digital power systems, such as DC/DC converters, and have some experience in simulating signal, power and thermal properties. A habit of working in a lab environment with measurements and design verifications is also something we value.

You are an analytical problem solver who can quickly grasp technical challenges and likes to collaborate with others to find the best solutions. Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

If you also have experience of projects in telecommunications or mass production and an understanding of statistics and thermal design, that is an extra plus.
