About the role

Are you an engineer who wants to do something challenging and have the opportunity for varied assignments? Are you looking for new challenges and enjoy finding innovative solutions to tricky problems? We are now looking for more mechanical engineers to join our growing team at AFRY in Borlänge!

As a consultant in our dynamic Product Development business area, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of future products and solutions at some of Sweden's most prominent and exciting companies.

With us, your role is not just to develop new, groundbreaking products - we believe in a holistic approach where we support product-owning companies throughout the product lifecycle. This means that we also help our customers manage their existing products, to ensure their competitiveness and relevance in an ever-changing market.

As a Mechanical Engineer, there is great variation in the nature of the assignments. In some assignments, you are involved in project development from start to finish. In other assignments, you strengthen the customer's expertise in specific areas or work with product care. The assignments vary over time and we carry out assignments both on site at the customer and in our own premises.

Requirement specification

You who apply have:

• an engineering degree in mechanics or similar
• at least 3 years of experience in product development or mechanical design
• good knowledge of any CAD tool, eg. Siemens NX, Solid Works or Creo and used to working with PLM systems
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
• B-driving license
• a business sense and thrives on putting the customer's needs in focus.
