Job description

In the role as a product developer with us, you will be faced with qualified and challenging assignments that include all or part of the product development chain. You will work on exciting projects, both internally and externally, where you have the opportunity to broaden your experience and knowledge bank as the assignments vary over time. The projects are conducted cross-functionally where you will work in parallel with both software developers and electronics designers.

We deliver solutions to many different industries, such as medical technology, consumer products and engineering industry, and to both large and small companies. Our team works with product development where most of the consultants focus on mechanical design, but we also take on assignments in testing and verification, system design and technical project management.

As a consultant at AFRY, you are surrounded by a well-built competence network, where we share knowledge and experience with each other. As an experienced mechanical engineer, you can act as a mentor to junior colleagues if you are interested. Qualifications

Your background

• You are a qualified engineer in the relevant field: mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, design & product development or similar
• Have at least a couple of years of work experience in design
• Experience with Solid Edge and/or Solid Works
• You have experience working with electricity
• Have good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing

The location for this position is in Solna and some commuting to customers is included in the service.
