About the role
We are looking for you who want to take on an assignment that is a collaboration between AFRY and our client in Örnsköldsvik! Maybe you are our next talent?
The client is a product development company that delivers advanced, technical solutions in defense, aerospace and security with a focus on development, manufacturing and support for the world market. They are facing a period of several exciting changes and challenges and now need the support of a Production Engineer with an interest in production and projects.
Duties include
Development of:
- Balancing documents, Production layouts, Risk assessments
- Standards, Ergonomics
- Tools & Equipment
- Layout, Material presentation
- Time studies, Frequency studies, Staffing documents
- Documentation
- Deviation management and problem solving
You will have a central role where you will have the opportunity to work on technical challenges, often in teams together with other production technicians and operators. Coordination of activities related to methods, processes, tools and machines will be part of your everyday life.

The role is located at the customer's premises in Örnsköldsvik.
Requirement specification
To succeed in the role, we believe that you have completed a university degree as an engineer - preferably with a mechanical engineering focus and have also accumulated 2-5 years of work experience as a production technician. You have a keen interest in technology and analytical skills but are not afraid to work hands-on and spend much of your time in production. You enjoy working with other people and are driven to see results and to develop. You are a down-to-earth person with good communication skills and realize that the team is stronger than the self.
As a person, you are analytical, fearless and have a self-driven ability.
You are fluent in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
Experience in cutting machining is an advantage.
