Role as Project and Design Manager 

As an experienced Project and Design Manager at AFRY, you will manage, coordinate and drive projects throughout the construction process - from early stages to execution and handover. Assignments can vary within infrastructure, from individual projects to larger long-term multidisciplinary projects. The work involves great freedom and responsibility together with knowledgeable colleagues. You manage the joint work in collaboration with the client and the project team towards the overall goals of the project. You report in the project to the client and any steering group.

We are looking for you who have a technical background, preferably an engineering degree, and who have the ability to lead projects in all phases. You should be used to managing both large and small projects, and thrive in a role where you can be both creative and solution-oriented. For us, it is important that you feel a drive to develop and help your colleagues grow in their roles. We would like you to share your experience and knowledge with more junior project, construction and design managers, and at the same time we offer a culture where you have the opportunity to exchange experiences with other experienced leaders throughout AFRY with good opportunities for further training. Qualifications

To thrive in the role of project and design manager at AFRY, we see that you have: 

• A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably longer, of project and/or design management in infrastructure, energy or industry with experience as a consultant and/or client organization. You are also welcome to apply if you have experience from the construction side. 
• Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience from other related areas.
• Ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. 
• Very good knowledge of laws and regulations in construction law. We consider it a matter of course that you have long experience of working with standardized agreements such as AB04, ABT06, ABK09 and more. If you also have construction management/construction project management experience, this is a plus.

The most important qualities we are looking for in you are your commitment and willingness to contribute with a positive energy and motivation in the workplace. We also see that in the role of experienced project and project manager you have the ability to see opportunities for increased business. You enjoy working with people and have a passion for making a difference both in your projects and in the development of your colleagues.

We are now looking for reinforcement in our teams in northern Sweden.
