At AFRY, we in Automation work with really exciting projects where we have overall responsibility for technology-intensive automation services. We help our customers with robotized production systems/production lines, from concept to completion as well as with service and support. Locally, we work with the market's largest customers in exciting projects run at customers' sites and in-house in our own project operations. Since we take overall responsibility for our deliveries, you will have the opportunity to lead, drive and take responsibility for our deliveries. We who work in the section are experts in mechanical design, electrical design, PLC and robot programming as well as installation and commissioning.
About the role
As a project manager with us, you will be a key person in the work with our turnkey projects, and automation solutions. You will be involved in the early stages of sales and procurement work with both customers and subcontractors. A large part is then to drive from concept to calculation, preparation phases, quotation and procurement. In addition to this, you are responsible for driving our projects through all project stages, including commissioning and service. The role with us is broad and varied as you get the opportunity to work with fixed price projects, follow projects over time and take overall responsibility in the projects you work with.
A large part of your work is to collaborate with other people both internally and externally and to learn from and share knowledge with others around you. We believe that we get the best results and have the most fun at work when we create the conditions together. Requirements specification
To succeed in this role, we believe that you are motivated by working in a challenging and dynamic work environment and are solution-oriented and forward-looking in what you take on. That said, we know that together we need to create the right conditions for this, which is why we also value your collaboration and communication skills as well as your initiative.
- Appropriate technical education or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience from a similar role as a project manager in an industrial environment, as well as a background in one or more of the areas of electrical, mechanical or automation.
- Ability to communicate well in Swedish and English.
- B-driving license.
