AFRY is growing in step with our customers and is currently looking for an ambitious leader with experience and interest in investment projects in industry. In your role as a consultant and Project Manager with us, you will belong to our local office in Örnsköldsvik. You will be part of an organization that specializes in technical solutions for industry. We who support the recruitment are the business area Project, Control & Management, who are specialized in project management and work with various roles in project management, project and program management and project coordination. Our expertise lies primarily in production and product development. In the main, the assignments take place at our customers, who are geographically located in the Örnsköldsvik region, alternatively at our own premises.

We currently see a need for our close customer who delivers advanced, technical solutions in defense, aviation and security with a focus on development, manufacturing and support for the world market.

As a project manager for test and verification, you are responsible for leading the test and verification of components, systems and subsystems to meet internal and external requirements within the product development cycle. You are responsible for leading, coordinating and reporting the projects cross-functionally in terms of time, resources, requirements and quality. Here, your personal qualities are as important as your technical ones.

Project, Control & management today consists of project managers with 0 to 25 years of experience from leading roles in industry and most of us are certified according to PMI or PRINCE2. We are all engineers with a genuine interest in technology at heart, but our common driving force is the desire to develop in leadership and project management.

Requirements specification

We are looking for you with at least 5 years' work experience of project management in industry, preferably from production or product development. You are an engineer and it is advantageous if you have experience of projects in various industries, e.g. vehicles, defence, paper & pulp, energy or the like.

As a person, you are meticulous and driven with great technical interest. You want to create successful teams, are driven by solving challenges together with others and you always contribute that little extra. Your ability to communicate with many different stakeholders in a professional and effective manner is important.

Applicants must have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

For some of our customers, security checks and drug tests are mandatory, which you must be comfortable with.
