Industrial Civil, AFRY offers the full range of industrial construction services to support clients in the process industry
We act as a partner for small and large industrial construction projects in the process industry. We have a local presence and national strength as well as global resources when needed and the capacity required for process industry construction projects.

Industrial Civil is now looking for senior construction managers who want to work in teams with a focus on project development and interesting projects. The role of senior construction manager includes the following.
- Participate in feasibility studies and participate in the design phase in the construction segment.
- Responsible for start-up, establishment and resourcing of projects
- Coordinate between client, own staff and subcontractors.
- Lead the work on site, time and financial follow-up within the project.
- Responsible for coordination between Civil and other technical areas within AFRY in the projects.
A typical working week is a variation of both office work and out in the field. Manage & distribute work on sight, work in the project model, financial follow-up, invoice management, be well versed in and convey execution to staff and contractors. Ensure that the execution of the projects follows time, economy and performance requirements.

Placement will be primarily at one of our offices in Luleå, Skellefteå, Umeå, Örnsköldsvik, Sundsvall, Gävle, Stockholm, Norrköping, Karlstad, Örebro, Gothenburg or Lund. Travel and work elsewhere may occur.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, we see that you are driven and committed to what you do. You can take your own initiatives within the framework set. You have extensive experience of being the coordinating person in major projects in the industrial segment and its various constituent parts. You can work away from home for periods if required. You have a holistic view of the projects and can act accordingly.
We see that you have a solid experience from a similar role and with that have a broad competence and experience, from several different projects. Furthermore, in the role of construction manager, responsible construction project manager, you have experience of project managing a new construction contract at all stages from program documentation to handover of the commissioned building in collaboration with other project managers in the various technical areas.
Qualifications
Education, requirements: Civil engineer or equivalent experience
Good system knowledge in Office, CAD
Good knowledge in both speech and writing in Swedish and English
Driving license
Additional
Education in construction, concrete knowledge, wood construction, ground construction.
Experience in leading major construction projects in the industry.
Experience in the role/roles of Contract Manager
Experience in Procurement, management, structure.
