We are looking for a senior design engineer with experience in consumer products in metal construction.

As a senior design engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the development of a new generation of medical devices. The project is in the concept phase with focus on design and engineering. To ensure product requirements such as cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, ease of use, durability and long-term quality, there is close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. Your role will involve developing products with the needs of the end user at the center, ensuring that the technical solution meets both clinical requirements and ease of use.

The work involves the design and evaluation of concepts, including the development of specifications and prototyping. A key part of the role is to ensure that the product is adapted for serial production, where both functionality and user experience are prioritized. You will collaborate with external suppliers and other parts of the organization to optimize the design with respect to manufacturing and usability.
