About the role
AFRY Process Industries Gothenburg & Stenungsund has now established a newly started section for Electrical Power in the Process Industry. We are now looking for electrical power engineers who want to be part of expanding our service offering in electrical power to the process industry here on the West Coast!
The location is thus Stenungsund or Gothenburg.
As we have established a new section, we are looking for you who are senior in your role as an electrical power engineer where you as an employee have the opportunity to contribute and form a winning team from the ground up! You will act as support in the development of the group where you will have a major impact on the design of the team in close collaboration with the section manager.
In the role of senior electrical power engineer, you will be part of a winning team where you will have the opportunity to contribute with your knowledge and work with the latest technology in our industrial customers' projects. The projects can vary from single electricity to multidisciplinary projects.
You will work with different types of projects and assignments in the Process Industry, this will be guided by the customer's needs but we attach great importance to your competence and your personal ambition and development plan. Your tasks will include:
- Pre-studies
- Project design of stations/switchgear
- Construction of electric power plants
- Testing/Commissioning
- Project/discipline management
You will be an important key player for the section's continued development in the field of electric power. With us, there is the opportunity to follow the course of the projects from idea to commissioned plant and the projects take place both in-house at our office and out at our customers. Location Gothenburg or Stenungsund is optional according to your wishes.
Requirements

We are looking for you who have:
- Several years of experience in the electric power sector, preferably in the process, energy, oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
- A technical education with a focus on electrical power from university, college, YH or worked your way to equivalent knowledge.
- Experience of working in the electric power field with e.g. in switchgear / relay protection.
- Experience of working in project form.
Extra meritorious is if you have experience in the following areas:
- EPC/EPCM projects in the process industry.
- Procurement of equipment and contracts for switchgear, power transformers, etc.
In addition, you have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have a B driving license as travel to customers occurs in the service.
