Job description
At AFRY, we carry out assignments for a large number of different industries and the job with us would therefore best be described as very varied. We are 19,000 dedicated colleagues worldwide, each with a unique skill set. Right now we need to recruit you with competence and interest in machine safety.
As an important part of developing new innovations, we at AFRY of course also work with machine safety and technology information, we actually have a whole team working with this in Malmö. In addition, AFRY is the largest in Sweden in machine safety. With this expertise, we contribute to high standards of safety and user-friendliness, directly to the customer or in our own projects.
In our projects and consulting assignments, we perform:
- Consultation and guidance in machinery safety issues
- Analysis of machines and technical documentation
- CE marking of machine systems/machines
- Execution of projects in machinery safety, from risk assessment and documentation to commissioning
The location is flexible - we have the opportunity to hire in several locations from Karlstad to Malmö.
Qualifications

We are looking for you who
- have several years of documented experience working with machine safety
- have knowledge and understanding of the risks and functions of machines for both mechanics and electricity
- have solid knowledge of the EC:s Machinery Directive and harmonizing standards
- have a technical education at upper secondary school level, college level or equivalenthave a B-driving license for passenger cars
- have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
It is meritorious if you
- have knowledge of the Machinery Directive, 2006/42/EC and or the User Directive
- have knowledge of EN ISO 12100, ENI ISO 13849-1, EN ISO 11161
- are certified specialist in the field according to CMSE, CECE or Machine Safety Specialist
