We are in an expansive phase and as we constantly get the opportunity to work on new exciting projects, we now need to expand our business with more employees. We at Samhällsbyggnad Vatten Norr are now looking for a senior engineer in water process and/or machine who wants to work in assignments in water and wastewater treatment locally and regionally and collaborate nationally and internationally with other consultants within AFRY.
The position includes working with feasibility studies, dimensioning of machines and equipment, developing processes for water treatment and sludge management, process optimization, developing principle proposals, tender documents and working with project planning at various stages. Each assignment is unique and requires a unique team setup that is adapted to the assignment.
You will work on assignments throughout the country and travel occurs, but you will have one of our offices as your regular workplace. Possibility of remote work from another location in Norrland is available. Please state your preferred location in your application.
Locations for the service are Luleå, Boden, Piteå, Skellefteå, Umeå, Örnsköldsvik, Sundsvall, Östersund.
Requirements specification

Educationally, we see that you have a degree as a civil engineer, university engineer or natural scientist with water and wastewater treatment technology, mechanical or chemical engineering as part of your degree or other degree that can be assessed as equivalent, or that you have gained equivalent skills through experience from the industry. You have at least 5 years of experience in municipal water and/or wastewater treatment engineering. We consider consulting experience as a merit.
As AFRY is an international company, we expect you to be fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, in order to meet our clients' needs.
