About the role
Are you an experienced geotechnical engineer who is passionate about technology and want to work for an employer who values both your skills and development? AFRY Geotechnical Engineering is now looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our office in Stockholm.
AFRY is one of the leading players in geotechnical engineering in Sweden with over 100 employees. We work in close collaboration nationally and within various subgroups to further develop our working methods and projects. During the year, our section has won several large framework agreements and exciting projects, which means that we are now looking for more committed geotechnical engineers who want to join us on our journey.
At our office in Stockholm, we are 27 people, divided into two teams: field geotechnical engineers and geotechnical engineers. Together we are responsible for delivering data, analyzing and reporting to our customers. You will be part of a dynamic team where competence sharing and collaboration are central parts of the work.
We also offer flexibility with the possibility to work from our offices in Uppsala or south of Stockholm. Our field storage and workshop are located in Södertälje.
Your tasks will be:
- Lead geotechnical assignments, from early to late stages.
- Be technically responsible geotechnical engineer in larger multidisciplinary projects.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to their development.
- Possibility to take a leading role within our national geotechnical network for the right candidate.

Requirement specification
We are looking for you who have extensive experience as a geotechnical engineer and who want to continue to develop in a leading role. You are responsible and flexible, with an interest in working in a consulting role. To thrive with us, you need to appreciate a work environment with high ceilings, where you both learn from others and share your knowledge.
