About the role


Automation West is looking for a senior HVAC specialist with a focus on the process industry to join our team in Varberg and Gothenburg. In this key role, you will lead the design, implementation and optimization of advanced HVAC systems for industrial process systems, using your expertise in HVAC and the theme's automation knowledge in industrial control systems.

  • Lead and coordinate HVAC solutions tailored to the unique requirements of process industry customers
  • Analyze and optimize existing HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HVAC systems with industrial automation and control processes
  • Manage complex HVAC projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct site evaluations and prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations and new technologies in industrial HVAC and industrial automation
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers



Requirements


  • Relevant technical training in HVAC, mechanical engineering, energy engineering or similar. Alternatively, you have equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC systems, with a strong focus on process industry applications
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC principles, design and energy efficiency strategies
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit. MagiCad or similar design software
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • In-depth understanding of process industry HVACsystems and their integration with automation technologies
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices in industrial environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead complex projects
  • Swedish language skills
  • A genuine interest in sustainable solutions and a willingness to drive development in the field
