In the role of Senior Java Developer you will work with designing, developing and maintaining applications for our customers. Depending on the assignment, you will work independently or together with colleagues at our company. You will be part of a team of developers, architects and other experts.

What does the position as Senior Java developer with us mean?

• Design and develop innovative and scalable applications with Java and related technologies (e.g. Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and business goals.
• Implement and maintain APIs and integrations (RESTful, SOAP).
• Work with backend development and databases.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
• Explore and implement new technologies and solutions.
• Mentoring junior developers.
• Support clients in digitization projects and improvements.
• In addition to great and competent colleagues, you will also have a dedicated manager who supports your career development and works directly with you on projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Many years of experience in Java development (Java SE/EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases or similar.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS) is meritorious.
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is meritorious.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).Experience with agile development methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities and your willingness to create value for customers and colleagues.

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms: GCP, Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with: Kafka, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform, Bicep, Helm, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana.
