Company description

AFRY offers services in engineering, design, digitalization and consulting. We are dedicated experts in industry, energy and infrastructure, creating value for future generations. AFRY has a global reach with deep roots in the Nordics. Together, we are accelerating the transition to a more sustainable society.

About the role

Do you want to be involved in planning the electricity grid of the future in a growing Stockholm? Right now we are looking for senior designers mainly in local networks, but also in regional networks and substations may be relevant depending on your profile.

Distribution belongs to the Transmission & Distribution market area where we are just over 180 consultants spread throughout the country. We work with electric power over the entire voltage range from 400 V to 400 kV and our customers are mainly electricity network owners, electricity suppliers and larger electricity consumers such as industries. We carry out investigations, projects, construction and documentation for customers who are electricity network owners in regional and local networks.

As a Senior Project Manager at Distribution, you will work with the planning and design of electricity networks up to 24 kV. The work includes planning, network calculation, CAD drawing, coordination, writing technical descriptions and producing construction documents. You will also coordinate and distribute tasks to other designers and act as a mentor and support. In your role as a Senior Designer, it is also natural to act as an assignment leader, which means having a lot of contacts with both clients, contractors, partners and internal AFRY colleagues in matters relating to technology, quality and finance.

Our customers are located all over Sweden and you therefore work flexibly both locally and remotely together with colleagues around Sweden. In your role as a consultant, you will meet clients in your assignment and you will then contribute to finding new business for yourself but perhaps also for others.

Are you ready to become a key player in our quest to lead the energy transition and electrification of society? As a Senior Project Manager at AFRY, you will play a central role in shaping the electricity grid of the future and contribute to the electrification of society.
