About the role

Are you a developer with a passion for embedded systems and expertise in C/C++? Are you looking for a working environment where you get to work with both exciting technology and nice colleagues? AFRY Connected Products in Gothenburg is expanding, and we are looking for more colleagues in Embedded Software who want to be part of developing the solutions of the future in areas such as space, defense, medical technology and the manufacturing industry.

In this role, you get the opportunity to work with both hardware-related software development and advanced problem solving in a company where digitalization and sustainability are at the center. You will be part of an agile team, where experienced and newer colleagues work side by side to create innovative products and systems. We offer a dynamic and varied environment where you will have the chance to work at some of the region's most prominent companies and in projects ranging from concept development to final delivery.

There is also the opportunity to become part of our project organization, Customized Solutions, where we manage projects from start to finish. If the customer allows, the work can partly be done remotely, which gives you additional flexibility in your working day.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have a strong interest in development and who have several years of experience in software development in C/C++. You have worked with hardware-oriented programming and appreciate both the technical depth and the creativity required to solve complex problems. You thrive in an agile approach and have experience working in teams with mixed experience levels, where everyone contributes to creating the best possible solution.

To succeed in the role, we believe that you:

• Have several years of experience in hardware-related software development in C / C ++.
• Thrive to work in agile teams and are used to working closely with both colleagues and customers.
• Have a genuine interest in technology and problem solving, where you constantly want to develop and improve.
• Are comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.

We also believe that you are a person who is unpretentious and open to learning from others, while sharing your own experiences. Your personality and willingness to create well-being and cooperation in the group is important to us.
