About the role

We are now looking for a Software Developer in embedded systems for AFRY in Karlstad. Requirements specification

We look for applicants to meet these criteria:

• A relevant college or university degree in e.g. computer science, electronics, embedded systems or similar and have worked a few years, or many years, in software development.
• Working experience of programming languages such as C/C++, or Python.
• Working experience of real-time operating systems.
• Experience of tools such as GIT, Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Possess a B driving license.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Previous consulting experience.
• Experience in algorithms (control systems, AI/ML), FPGA/VHDL/Verilog, electronics, cyber security.
• Application knowledge in telecom, energy systems, automotive, or defense industry.

The position is a permanent position and probation may be applied. You are based in our office in Karlstad and can eventually also work from home.
