Do you want to be involved in developing advanced and innovative components for the space rockets of the future?

With one of our customers, we now give you the opportunity to experience how a product goes from concept, design, manufacturing and testing. The customer's skilled design team has the primary responsibility of designing and developing turbines and nozzles for Europe's space rocket engines. This includes supporting the customer's manufacturing team in production from a design perspective, so that the quality of their products is world-class.

Duties include,

• Planning, driving, and managing the design work to deliver in accordance with the customer's delivery targets
• Managing residual deviations from our manufacturing and external suppliers
• Working with Production to develop repair procedures
• Recommending design improvements to reduce deviations

Qualifications

Engineering degree: MSc or BSc, or equivalent knowledge through work experience.

Additional:

• Experience and product knowledge
• Crafting & manufacturing through Welding, Casting, Forging, AM, CNC machining etc
• Drawing understanding and tolerancing.
• Materials knowledge of e.g. super alloys and titanium
• Worked towards CAE simulation (CAD, FE analysis, eero-simulation incl. CFD)
• Experience in analysis by NDT methods such as FPI, X-ray, ultrasound etc
• Risk analysis/root cause analysis/traceability: 8D, FMEA/FMECA, 5W, Ishikawa etc

Previous experience in software:

• PLM tools
• SAP
• Teamcenter
• TcPLM (Web-based team center)

You are comfortable in communicating with both internal and external parties - whether colleagues, customers or suppliers. Since many of the contacts take place both within and outside Sweden's borders, it is important that you master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.

As a person, you are solution-oriented and have a good problem-solving ability - you see opportunities where others see obstacles and find it easy to find ways forward. You are also a team player with a humble approach and have a natural ability to influence and collaborate even outside your own team.

Requirements for this service are that you undergo and are approved in accordance with the current regulations for security protection and conduct a negative drug test before starting

After completing the assignment, the ambition of the customer is to offer a permanent position to the consultant.
