About the role
Do you have experience with sprinklers? Are you currently working as a sprinkler designer, project manager, project manager or senior sprinkler fitter? With Borlänge as a starting point, HVAC Dalarna now has a sprinkler group that has the ambition to grow in the coming years within the region. The location is flexible and can be adapted based on your preferences. Location can be Stockholm, Uppsala, Gävle or at one of our local offices in Dalarna. Do you want to be part of that journey?
At AFRY, we have a recurring need to welcome new employees, both experienced and newly graduated. At this stage, we are mainly looking for experienced employees who will step into the role of designer, administrator or assignment manager sprinkler.
In the sprinkler group, the goal is for everyone to develop with the goal of leading design assignments independently within 3-5 years. To get there, we develop a development plan based on your previous experience and skills. You will then work closely with a mentor to achieve that goal.
Our projects are both fun, challenging and varied, our customers include real estate, industry, schools and hospitals. With us, you get to follow the projects from the early stages to delivery and follow-up. The service includes working with everything from early stages to calculations, design and drawings that are designed in MagiCAD or Revit and to produce technical documentation and documents.
The sprinkler group belongs to AFRY's Buildings business area, which with over 1600 employees is one of the largest players in Sweden in the real estate sector. Competency requirements
A willingness, curiosity and drive to want to learn new things is a basic requirement as regulations, technology and tools are constantly changing.
As a sprinkler designer, it is important to be able to communicate and find solutions together with our customers and fellow consultants. An ability to understand other disciplines, the customer and be able to clearly communicate our requirements to find a solution together is highly valued and as important as the technical competence.
You are a university or civil engineer with experience in sprinkler design. Alternatively, you are currently working as a leading fitter or project manager in sprinklers, but with a desire to learn to design.
You do not need to be a qualified water sprinkler engineer today, but of course have that as a long-term goal.
We work mainly in AutoCAD with MagiCAD, but also Revit with MagiCAD and therefore see that you preferably have experience of working in both programs. If you only have experience of one program or none of them, we see that you have a drive to want to learn together with a mentor at AFRY.
Although we are an international company, we value that you master the Swedish language orally as well as in writing to meet our customers' needs locally.
