Company Description

AFRY is an international engineering, design and consulting company. We accelerate the transition to a sustainable society.

We are 19,000 dedicated experts in the fields of infrastructure, industry, energy and digitalization working across the globe to create sustainable solutions for future generations.

Inclusion and diversity - We want to attract people with different backgrounds and perspectives to our organization. Diversity is positive in many ways for us at AFRY. We know that it drives both creativity and innovation.

About the role

Do you think that quality work is just unnecessary, cumbersome, costs time and money? Then you can stop reading here because we are looking for you who like quality and recognize concepts such as PPAP, 8D, PFMEA, SPC, R&R, KPI or CAPA and who understand the point of having an established quality management system.

Does it suit you to work cross-functionally, motivate, enthusiastically and create good relationships with many different interfaces such as quality, purchasing, development and production? Do you like to investigate problems and introduce improvements and do you want to help our customers transform requirements into technical specifications that you communicate and follow up with their subcontractors? Do you have a technical background and experience in manufacturing and quality work? Then you might be our new colleague!

As a consultant with us, you will work in assignments such as Quality Engineer, Product Requirement Engineer or SQE (Supplier Quality Engineer) / SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) at our customers. There you will investigate quality problems and deviations in products and materials, conduct root cause analyses and risk analyses, implement corrective actions and drive improvement work, develop strategies and methods for testing and verification and conduct supplier audits.

Who are we?

Our Compliance & Quality Management (CQM) section consists of about 30 employees in Mälardalen, Malmö and Gothenburg. The section is run by Britta-Stina together with group manager Lars and our team leader Jacob. Among our employees, who range from new graduates to senior employees, there is a broad competence in quality, compliance and business development. We work with products throughout their life cycle or processes throughout the company's organization in different industries and organizations.

Requirements

You are trustworthy, unpretentious and have the ability to quickly understand the context of new environments, industries and products. You are looking for a job that is varied, challenging, fun and requires drive!

We place great emphasis on personal qualities and want you to have the ability to communicate your knowledge and insights in an educational way to different parts of an organization.

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in quality work or setting requirements for subcontractors in the manufacturing industry
  • a relevant university or civil engineering degree

Of course, you can read a drawing, like to write reports and have good knowledge of Swedish and English both in speech and writing. In addition, if you have already worked as an SQE / SQA or have experience in complaint management, quality assurance of components and production in the automotive industry or medical technology, it is also a plus.
