About the role

Do you want to work with the whole world but at the same time have a safe belonging in a great team with other specialists where everyone contributes with valuable skills, experience and joy?

We are now looking for an SQM or SQE who wants to join an exciting journey in the defense industry. As an SQM or SQE, you will have the opportunity to work very independently within the area of responsibility. You will have many contacts, mainly with suppliers in Sweden, Europe and USA/Canada. You will collaborate internally with engineering, purchasing, legal and production.

In the position, it is central to ensure good quality through proactive work with suppliers. This may include:

• Planning and conducting audits
• Product controls
• Requiring quality in contracts
• Risk analysis
• Working to develop suppliers and supplier relationships.

The position also includes investigations when a deviation has occurred. This includes requesting and evaluating 8D reports from suppliers, as well as developing cooperation with suppliers for preventive purposes so that they have the capacity to meet the customer's requirements and expectations. A number of trips per year are included in the service.

Requirement specification

We would like you to have an academic education with a specialization in quality or other relevant education.

You should have practical experience of quality work in the manufacturing industry and it is meritorious if you come from the automotive industry. As many of our customers are international, you need to have a good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

To thrive in the role, you are expected to take great personal responsibility. You have a systematic and structured way of working, are driven and take independent initiatives for action and follow-up. You are a person with good communication skills who can easily build good relationships as you will have many different interfaces both within the company and with suppliers. You will have the ability to build and develop long-term business relationships and still be encouraging and challenging in your mission to support suppliers in their process and improvement work.

The position requires you to undergo and pass a security clearance, in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
