About the role

Are you ready for new challenges as a system developer with a focus on Industry? As a leading provider of Industrial IT, we have an exciting future ahead of us and are looking for more talented and driven colleagues to join our team in Luleå and northern Sweden. Our applications are often production-critical and crucial to our customers' success. It can be about ex. MES, Cybersecurity, SCADA, sensors, visualization or communication with equipment. You will be part of a larger team of experienced colleagues who are happy to work together in an inviting atmosphere where we value collaboration, learning and having fun at work.

As a developer, you will work with our own software products as well as customer solutions where there is room for you to both learn and be involved in driving the work within both existing systems and the latest technology. The work includes both updates to existing systems and new development from requirements analysis to commissioning.

Examples of tasks:

• Technical solution design and feasibility study.
• Broad system development; Back/Front-end frameworks, databases, integrations and APIs.
• Develop AFRY's own system platform as well as customer-specific solutions.
• Understand and translate user needs into an appropriate technical solution.
• Work with other colleagues within AFRY to deliver larger solutions.

Requirement specification

We believe that you are a computer engineer or civil engineer in computer engineering or have acquired equivalent knowledge.

You have experience as a System Developer and working in projects with a mix of technologies. It is an advantage if you have experience from the production and/or process industry and an interest in developing good solutions for users in that environment. You who apply have a broad technical knowledge and interest in, for example; .NET Fullstack, SQL, Oracle and front-end technologies, etc.

As a person, we are looking for you who enjoy problem solving combined with a good sense of customer service and the variety that comes with the role of consultant.
