About the role

Are you looking for new challenges and as a consultant and/or want to take leadership responsibility in larger and complex projects towards the defense industry or towards our defense authorities?

In our Defense & Security business area, we are strengthening with System Engineers / System Engineer Managers in the domains of ground, sea, command and control systems and logistics and we are located in several offices in Sweden. We see that you will be a local representative for the area and are prepared to take a leading role as a consultant in customer projects but also for your colleagues who are also system engineers.

We believe that you want to belong to a community of colleagues who are engineers and colleagues with a defense background, all with different levels of experience and orientations. Your leadership and our common competence and will are central to delivering with high quality and precision for our customer.

Completeness commitments place high demands on us and our consultants, both in terms of competence and delivery ability. Focus forward, while we should enjoy and have fun together when we work!

Requirement specification

We are looking for a committed System Engineer!

To thrive in a consulting role, we see that you have the ability to drive work forward, take the initiative and have commitment and collaboration skills. You probably have a technical academic education at least a university engineer and / or a longer work experience in the systems area.

You have good knowledge of Systems Engineering and project management. You are familiar with systems work, requirements management and have experience of working with complex technical systems throughout their life cycle. We would like to see that you have worked with methods such as ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) and the life cycle model ISO 15288.

You have several years of experience working in Systems Engineering and have a good understanding of project management methodology. If you are also certified in Systems Engineering (INCOSE), it is an advantage.

We also want to find you who can take more leadership responsibility and act as a System Engineer Manager. You are a natural leader with a genuine desire to lead and inspire your colleagues, especially in temporary, composite teams. You thrive on working towards clear goals and are both businesslike and results-oriented in your approach. Your commitment and ability to inspire others make you a key driver of the team's success.

As our customer assignments require communication in both Swedish and English, it is important that you feel comfortable in expressing yourself well in both speech and writing in these languages.

As the position may involve work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to complete and pass a security check with a register check. Swedish citizenship is a requirement.

Advantageous is if you have previous experience:

  • from the defense area
  • in a previous role as a technical officer
  • of working as a consultant

In order to be able to work in overall commitments to the customer, we have a consistent strategy to work focused on skills development for our consultants. This is done through skills projects, seminars and training in various areas. All tailored to you as a consultant.

As our customers mainly operate in a defense context, it is a natural part of our everyday life that we work based on the ISO / IEC 15288 standard.
