About the role
We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to develop advanced system solutions for AFRY's client.
In this position you will focus on areas such as system requirements specification, system integration and validation plans for multiple subsystems. You will be part of a team with members from different departments within AFRY. The products consist of embedded system components as well as mechanical design.
You will work closely with engineers, project managers and customers to ensure that the customer's solutions meet high quality and functionality requirements.
Examples of tasks:
- Analysis of system requirements and design of subsystems
- Collaboration with suppliers and customers
- Planning and leading verification tests
- Responsibility for system integration
Requirements specification
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience of systems work in embedded or mechatronic systems
- Experience of product development in the defense, automotive or telecom industry
- Familiarity with relevant standards in the above areas (e.e.g. ISO 15288)
- Knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is meritorious if you have experience of
- System security within embedded/mechatronic systems and/or communication systems
Swedish citizenship is required and a background check will be done.
The assignment will be carried out at the customer in Karlstad but will gradually be able to transition to work from AFRYS' own premises.
