About the role

AFRY Nuclear Sweden focuses on nuclear power where we carry out assignments and projects of various sizes, ranging from maintenance, radiation safety, safety analyses, decommissioning, technical investigations as well as project management. We are proud to be one of the largest suppliers of expertise to the nuclear power industry in Sweden, and together we have a broad and deep expertise that allows us to help both our customers and each other to succeed and develop!

We are now looking for another colleague for the role of technical project manager for consulting assignments in the nuclear power industry. The role is technically oriented and you will lead various projects that may include responsibility for operation, maintenance and management in construction, construction and real estate. Furthermore, you will work with, among other things, preparation documents, needs analyses, tender reviews, feasibility studies and investigations for projects, which will give you a holistic view of how the projects are conducted. In addition to planning and managing projects from start to finish, it is also important to ensure that projects are on time and on budget and that all projects comply with the strict regulations and safety regulations that exist in the nuclear power industry.

Our section offers you exciting tasks in a very nice and knowledgeable team, and together with the support of experienced colleagues, you will be given good opportunities to develop as a technical project manager. As an AFRY consultant in this area, you will mainly work in assignments at the customer's premises, which means that travel will be a natural part of the work. Some possibility of remote work is available depending on the tasks.

Requirement specification

Personal qualities are something we value highly for you to thrive in the role. As we work in a customer-oriented business with many different contact surfaces, we are looking for you who are motivated by creating and maintaining many and good relationships with both customers and colleagues. You have a positive approach to teamwork and like to work towards common goals and share your knowledge.

As you will often work in parallel assignments, it is also important that you have the ability to quickly absorb new knowledge and create structure in your everyday life. This is to be able to adapt to different types of expectations and manage your projects in the best way, both for you and your customers.

Furthermore, we see that you have:

  • High school engineering or other relevant post-secondary education
  • Experience of having worked in project form in the technical industry
  • Experience in the construction and/or real estate field
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, as both languages are used frequently within AFRY and with our customers

As the position operates in security classified areas, you will undergo drug tests and security checks before employment can begin.
