About the role

Take the chance to become part of the AFRY Future Graduate Program and get a rewarding start to your engineering career! We are currently in need of Production Engineers/Junior Project Managers - take the opportunity to join our lovely section and an exciting assignment with an attractive client.

We have several customers, located both north and south of Stockholm, who need new support from engineers with an interest in industrial production and projects. As a production engineer / junior project manager, you will spend a lot of time close to the production interface to ensure efficient and trouble-free production.

Aside from the daily pulse, the opportunity may be given to act as a junior project manager in slightly more long-term issues. The role creates the conditions for being able to advance to more project manager-only roles where the projects are often of a more strategic career.

You will have a communicative role within your production unit where you will have the opportunity to work in teams on technical challenges together. You will have a work with a high pace and great technical content - a really good start in your career for a technically interested engineer with drive and ambition!

After a successful dialog with AFRY, your profile and wishes are matched with available assignments to find a solution where both candidate and client will be as satisfied as possible. Roles in, for example, project planning and logistics development may also be relevant for the right candidate.

Our section at AFRY consists of a lovely bunch of junior engineers who sit in varying assignments with different clients, both internal and external. We strive to meet in social contexts relatively often and focus on having a good time together.

Requirement specification

As a person, you are driven, self-motivated and a true team player. You put the customer's needs in focus and are interested in learning new things! As you will have multiple points of contact, you communicate easily with others and are not afraid to participate in technical discussions. You have a Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably with elements of mechanical engineering and/or manufacturing production environment. Relevant experience from the production environment is considered highly meritorious.

You will continuously learn and develop in your role and you look forward to taking on more responsibility as you prove your capability.

Although we are an international company, we value that you master the Swedish language orally as well as in writing to meet our customers' needs. For services towards the defense industry, drug tests and background checks may be required.

Requirements for this position are that you have already graduated, accept a fixed-term position (see information about the Future Graduate Program below) and are ready to start your career! The deadline for submitting your application is 2024-12-15.
