About the role
AFRY is growing in traffic and urban planning and is now looking for a traffic planner to join our section within Community Development and Mobility.
Our traffic assignments range from investigations and analyses in the early stages to traffic design and traffic planning in later stages. Our clients are municipalities, regions and government agencies as well as private actors. We are now looking to strengthen the team with another traffic planner.
You will work in projects where you, together with colleagues with different competencies, develop, for example, route studies, traffic studies, traffic strategies, measure selection studies and road plans. The nature of the study assignments is very varied and the work involves close cooperation with customers and colleagues both internally and externally, which gives you a varied and dynamic working day. There are also good opportunities for you as an assignment leader to run assignments where you are responsible for execution, quality, time and resource planning, as well as finances.

Requirement specification
You enjoy working in a varied way with different types of assignments in investigation and planning. Since a central part of our assignments is to write reports in Swedish, it is a requirement for the position that you are fluent in Swedish in speech and writing. The role requires good communication skills in different contexts and an openness to new solutions and working methods. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have experience and interest in some of the following areas:
- 3-year post-secondary education in urban development or urban planning, or experience that is considered equivalent.
- approx. 3 years of experience working with traffic planning as a consultant or in the public sector.
- You should also have experience of collaborating in project form with colleagues and consultants from different subject areas.
- We expect you to have good Swedish in speech and writing.
