Company description

AFRY offers services in engineering, design, digitalization and consulting. We are dedicated experts in industry, energy and infrastructure, creating value for future generations. AFRY has a global reach with deep roots in the Nordics. Together we accelerate the transition to a more sustainable society.

About the role

AFRY's Technical Communication department consists of approximately 30 people with expertise in digital training production, 3D visualization and documentation. We are located at AFRY's offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. We work both in consulting assignments with our customers but also in project form internally.

Right now we are expanding our team in digital education production and are looking for both scriptwriters and graphic designers. We are looking for employees in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö.

Our customers are in a variety of industries and the subject can be pretty much anything. We strive to make all our trainings effective and attractive. What do we mean by that? Well, employees' time is money. We sift, structure and streamline facts, turning them into educational graphics, films and animations. This way, the target audience doesn't have to wade through a lot of facts. Instead, we show them how/when and what to do. Shorter learning time and more attractive materials make the knowledge stick longer.

Requirements

Training producer with a focus on scripting

You are a good listener and understand the customer's business, situation and need for help. You can understand the client's problem and translate it into a concrete solution, working with a graphic designer to come up with a concept. You can drive fact-finding with the customer, asking the right questions to find out how things should work. You are good at structuring and boiling down large amounts of information and turning facts into scenarios, film and animation scripts.

We would like you to have worked for a few years in a similar role, have knowledge of the possibilities that exist with different educational approaches and have an interest in keeping up with the development of new technical opportunities in learning. You do not need to be a full-fledged producer yourself but know what interaction opportunities are available in different types of authoring tools.

Training producer with a focus on graphics

As a graphic artist, you work closely with our scriptwriters to sketch out concepts, make training interfaces, illustrations, photos, films and animations. You will be comfortable working in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Aftereffects and be able to operate a camera for both still and moving images.

If you can produce in one or more e-learning authoring tools, this is a big plus.

For both roles, we are looking for people who are unpretentious, enjoy working in teams, see differences as opportunities and cherish a positive work environment. We share our knowledge and are open to developing from each other.

Further information

We offer you a flexible working environment and great freedom with responsibility as we understand that everyone's life is different and the importance of having a good work-life balance. At AFRY, we share a strong culture of sharing knowledge and skills development in the form of internal and external training and individual development plans.

In addition to this, we offer you a generous annual wellness allowance, occupational health care, occupational pension and membership in our fantastic staff association Club AFRY. Here we organize fun activities such as ski trips, supervised training sessions, cabin rentals, guest lectures and much, much more!
