About the role
AFRY is one of the leading players in the water sector. We are in an expansive phase and as we constantly get the opportunity to work on new exciting projects, we now need to expand our business with more employees. We are therefore looking for committed and driven employees in the water and VA area with placement in our new nice office in Luleå. Are you one of those we are looking for?
We at Samhällsbyggnad Vatten Norr work in many different types of assignments in water and infrastructure. We are passionate about sustainable solutions that secure our water and our environment for future generations. With our expertise, we help customers all over the country and in all industries, municipalities and municipal companies, authorities, companies and industries. We work broadly in the entire water and wastewater area with everything from investigations at various stages to detailed design, risk analysis, action proposals, field work and training.
The position involves working in various assignments in the water and wastewater area, for example with investigations in early stages, analytical calculations, quality assurance and review. You will develop and maintain customer relationships and participate in the section's technical and business development. The tasks will depend on your experience and the areas you want to develop in. Here in the north, we are divided into two sections that work with different parts of the VA area. Which section you fit best in depends on which part of the area you master and want to develop in.
Each assignment is unique and therefore requires a unique team setup that is adapted to the assignment. You will work on assignments throughout the country and travel occurs, but you will have the office at Sundsbacken in Luleå as your regular workplace. Opportunity for remote work is available
Requirement specification
We are looking for you who have a few years of work experience in the water or VA area. In terms of education, we see that you have a relevant education or have accumulated equivalent skills through experience from municipal VA operations or as a consultant or contractor.
As a person, you are curious and interested in your technical area and have energy and drive. We attach great importance to your personal qualities and value commitment and the ability to collaborate with others as the work involves many personal contacts and is usually conducted in a project group together with the client. The work involves presentations in both report form and oral presentations, which is why good ability to express yourself in speech and writing is a prerequisite. Good knowledge of Swedish is a requirement as our customers expect reports written in Swedish.
