We in Automation at AFRY work with really exciting projects where we have overall responsibility for technology-intensive automation services. We help our customers with robotized production systems/production lines, from concept to completion as well as with service and support. Locally, we work with the market's largest customers in exciting projects run at customers' sites and in-house in our own project operations. Since we take overall responsibility for our deliveries, you will have the opportunity to lead, drive and take responsibility for our deliveries. We who work in the section are experts in mechanical design, electrical design, PLC and robot programming as well as installation and commissioning.
About the role
Advanced Manufacturing is expanding and is now looking for several new employees! We want more people in:
- PLC programming and robot programming
- Industrial automation solutions
- Electrical design
- Project manager in industrial automation
We believe in collaboration and learning from each other, so it is also part of your role to coach and guide and share knowledge with your colleagues in the electrical/automation field. The most common systems we work with are Siemens TIA, ABB Robotics, Yaskawa-Motoman Robotics, SCADA, DCS.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, we believe you'll be motivated by working in a challenging and dynamic working environment and be solution-oriented and forward-thinking in what you take on. That said, we know that together we need to create the right conditions for this, which is why we also value your collaboration and communication skills as well as your initiative. If you have experience as an electrical designer, we see this as positive.
To succeed well and thrive in the role, we see that you have:
- Appropriate technical education or equivalent relevant experience.
- Several years of experience in electrical design, PLC programming or Robot programming in industrial operations. If you have knowledge and skills in Virtual Commissioning and simulation, this is also relevant but not a requirement.
- Ability to communicate well in Swedish and English.
- B driving license.
