The Unit for Individual and Family Care is a joint workplace where the exercise of authority within the Social Services Act, LVU and LVM is included. The operations consist of; Children and Young People, Financial Assistance, Family Law, Adults and Family Homes. We are looking for you who will work with processing financial assistance. You will be part of a team of 13 caseworkers, a 1st social secretary and a unit manager. We need you who can contribute with knowledge and job satisfaction to our unit. At the unit, we help each other succeed in our mission and together contribute to a good workplace.
Duties and tasks
The main task of a financial assistance caseworker is to support, motivate and investigate individuals' conditions in their journey towards self-sufficiency and, in the meantime, process the right to financial assistance under the Social Services Act. The role includes recurring contacts with both individuals and internal and external cooperation actors.
The area of activity also includes the processing of housing acquisition and domestic violence.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a social worker degree / social care program or other academic education that the employer considers adequate. We expect you to have good investigative and documentation skills and be able to express yourself well in speech and writing. A B driving license is a requirement. As a person, you are stable, self-motivated and structured. You are professional in your professional role and have a good attitude and good cooperation skills. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
It is an advantage that you have knowledge and experience of social work with the administration of financial assistance and knowledge of the Social Services Act. As well as experience of the Pulsen Combine business system.
We offer you a fixed-term employment, 6 months full-time, with the possibility of extension. Access as soon as possible after according to agreement.
Working hours are daytime, Monday - Friday. Possibility of some distance arrangement is available.
