Duties and responsibilities Your main tasks as a study and career counselor at Älvsbyn Upper Secondary School are to offer our students qualified study and career guidance in collaboration with the school's management and other staff. You conduct guidance interviews with individual students and inform and guide individuals and groups in the choices they face regarding schooling and future career direction. As a study and career counselor at the upper secondary school, you are part of the student health team and you will be an important person in the work of supporting students to achieve their upper secondary school diploma in the best way. Qualifications You have a degree as a study and vocational counselor or other education/experience that the employer considers equivalent. We value good ICT skills and expect you to have a good knowledge of the school's national policies and a deep understanding of your role as a guidance counselor.
