The municipality of Älvsbyn is looking for summer substitutes for 2025 in the following activities:
For elderly care
Assistant nurse and care assistant
For care of the disabled
Carers and supervisors
Personal assistant
For summer open preschool and after-school programs
Leg. Preschool teacher
Leg. Recreation teacher
For the Food and Facilities Management Unit
Meal staff and cook
Cleaning staff

Who are we looking for?
The work in our organizations largely involves helping and supporting other people in various ways. Therefore, we are looking for people who are responsible, have a good ability to build good relationships and have an empathetic approach. You take initiative and are committed. You can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, but also work together with the team to achieve set goals.
The work also means that you need to be able to keep documentation and be able to absorb written information and procedures in a good way. You therefore need to be good at communicating in both speech and writing.
It is important for us that you have an understanding of what it means to work in a public sector organization and the role it plays in society.
We would like to see that you have relevant education and/or experience specifically for the activity you are applying for, or that you are studying in one of the areas. You need to be at least 18 years old and a B driving license is a requirement in some activities.
In most establishments, temporary positions are 8 weeks during vacation periods, but the length may vary. Working hours also vary and may include evenings, weekends and nights in addition to daytime hours.
The vast majority of temporary positions are full-time, although variations may occur. Therefore, we would like you to be available full-time during the vacation periods, which fall between mid-June and mid-August.
